So today in this article you are going to get on page SEO checklist which you have to keep in mind so that the user can be satisfied and Google can give preference to your website.

1. Simple, Short and Informative URLs
Something like this: https://www.digiproven.com/free-email-marketing-tools/
While creating any post, its URL should be short and understandable so that the user can find out the topic of the content by looking at the URL.
It suggested using focus keyword only. If your URL is also complicated, Google will not have any problem crawling it but still, it is very important to keep the URL short, simple, and friendly to make it better.
2. Eye-Catchy and Click Worthy Tittle
Click worthy title is a crucial point of on page SEO checklist. First of all, you should use a maximum of 70 characters in the title.
Many times people say that is it right to use keywords in the title?
So, the answer is yes, of course, you must use the focus keyword and LSI in the title. Keep in mind one thing, while using keywords, it should not happen that you change the meaning of your title.
3. Relevant Description
As you know, we talk about the on page optimization checklist which includes the description. First, you need to understand what is the meaning of the description?
Description means a summary of your web page, it should be from 155 to 300 Chacharteras, you can use a combination of keywords to make the relevant description.
Special Note: There is no deny by Google to use more than 300 characters.
When your web page starts showing on Google, then your title and description in the snippet decide whether the user will click on your page or not.
4. Uses of Headings (H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6)

Many times people say that is it right to use keywords in the H1 and should we use it once?

As if know there are six types of headings available, here you can use the rest of the headings as many times as you want.
5. Try to Include Keywords or LSI in Subheading
When you write content, there are many points that you have to use as a subheading. You can use subheadings to highlight your points while writing content.
The subheading is a way in the checklist of on page SEO to get an extra advantage. It is not necessary that you use keywords in every subheading, but do not forget to use them when you feel it is suitable to use.
6. Image Optimisation
When you create an article, you can make your content attractive, scannable and understandable by using images.

When you use images, your hosting can be overload. To make sure that hosting does not have a significant impact, it is important that you optimize your images by compressing, by changing dimensions etc.
Now when you add an image, you have to take care that you also use alt text, So that whenever your image takes time to load, the user can identify through your alt text.
If you have 5 images on your article, rather then using focus keyword on every image use LSI or keyword related sentences.
7. Video Optimisation
If you are using a video in your article then this will also include optimising that video. By putting videos in the article, your users can get more engaged and they can spend up more time.
Things to remember while putting videos
- The video should be high-quality and relevant to your content
- The video should have a clickable title, use a keyword to make more relevant
- Insert it on perfect place in your article
- Should have an attractive thumbnail
8. Schema Markup (Rich Snippet)
So far, I have shared some on page SEO list. Schema markup is also a part of on page SEO.
You must be thinking that you knew the snippet, but what is a rich snippet?
So, one thing I’ll be clear here that snippet where your title and description are visible. But if we talk about rich snippet, then it also shows your title, description but it will also show your business ratings and reviews.
Rich snippet or schema markup increases the chances of clicking your snippet more frequently and get drive more traffic.
9. Internal and External Links
The most important and beneficial SEO factor is internal and external linking of your web pages. While doing internal linking, one thing to remember is that you do internal linking on the right and focus keywords.
And while doing the same external linking, keep in mind that you should be linking to the web pages to websites which have strong authority.
